In the spring of 2010 a group of South Philadelphia residents founded the South Philly Food Co-op. The Co-op’s goal is to build community by opening a member-owned cooperative grocery store that makes good food available to the residents of South Philadelphia.
We believe that it is vital that we choose food sources that are sustainable and support the local economy. We are also committed to building community and educating the community about making good food choices.
